The Weekend

Friday, May 26

Saturday, May 27

Sunday, May 28

The first night gets everyone together at an exclusive Warsaw venue for warm up pints, setting the stage for tourists to experience the sights and sounds of Warsaw nightlife. The central location could not be a more perfect place to do so, as the club is a short walk from Nowy Swiat St. which boasts every kind of venue a visiting tourist could hope for, from dingy shot bars to glitzy nightclubs. Be careful, the Warsaw Rugby Festival is a marathon, not a sprint. Matches start the next morning at 9:30 AM!

Teams attempt to shake off the effects of their first taste of Warsaw night life, with veteran sides heading straight for the beer garden. Group stages run all day for both Men's 10s and Ladies 7s events, as a live DJ keeps everybody singing and dancing. Day 1 highlights include: Beer garden games, sing-along karaoke and more. We transcend the border between pitch and party as the festivities push on until sundown with live music and plenty more beer garden banter on a long summer evening.

Sunday is a rugby day! Winners of the Warsaw Rugby Festival will be crowned and the most prestigious prize of "Most Honoured Side" is bestowed on the team which exemplifies the spirit of social rugby. Men's and Ladies teams play three or four matches each. The Tournament Banquet will kick-off just after sunset at the Boathouse, a riverside venue with an upscale atmosphere. It’s Sunday night, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the entertainment as well as the fine cuisine.
